Enzymes are proteins that are formed in human and animal organism, as well as in plants. They control and regulate all processes of life, and significantly contribute to the promotion of health. To date, several thousand enzymes in nature are known. They are also called biocatalysts. One thing is certain:
Without enzymes life would not be possible!
In a healthy organism, all processes such as activation and inhibition, synthesis and degradation, production and disposal are in equilibrium. These processes are regulated by various transmitters (cytokines, hormones, etc.) that are closely related to each other. An over-activity of cells and thus an excess supply of transmitters may be a natural reaction of the body to excessive stress, injury, illness, etc.
The healthy human body produces a number of enzymes that have various functions. |
